Leading by example: cutting energy bills & carbon emissions in the public & HE sector

Members are invited to watch the webinar we held to discuss the consultation 'Leading by example: cutting energy bills and carbon emissions in the public and higher education sectors’ with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The consultation is part of the Clean Growth Strategy, and the Government is interested in evidence, and views, about the action required to deliver an ambitious decarbonisation programme across the public and higher education sectors, in England over the next 10 years.

Only the first half of the webinar is recorded as the second half was a confidential member-only vote that will inform the EAUC's response to the consultation

The webinar starts with an Introduction from the EAUC, before going on to an introduction of the consultation from Clare Dalton, Public Sector Policy, Home and Local Energy Directorate at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. A question and answer session follows.
