Waste Topic Support Network October 2020

On Thursday 22nd October 2020, the Waste Management Topic Support Network met virtually to discuss updates on Scotland's upcoming Deposit Return Scheme (DRS), the impacts and solutions for microplastic losses from sports pitches, the use of in-service credits in waste contracts as a mechanism to improve service quality, and the impact of COVID on institutional waste management.

Microplastics losses and solutions for 3G sports pitches (Dr Maddy Berg, Fidra)
In-service credits in waste management contracts (Paulo Cruz, Glasgow Caledonian University)
