The Waste Hierarchy is an inverted pyramid!

Yes - that's right, it is an inverted pyramid. It actually started its life the right way up, but got inverted for a reason.

Look closely and you will see that it is broken down into five sections. We should do more of the top (wide section) and less of the bottom (pointed section) and thats why it got inverted - to represent this better!
