Sector-led projects
Between 2010 and 2013, LSIS has provided grants to support 63 projects which aim to develop, embed and disseminate effective approaches to sustainable development.
Each of these projects has developed a case study and, in many cases, resources and tools, which are now available for other providers to access, adopt, adapt and learn from, free of charge.
Below you can find details of the Walsdall Adult Community College project, with links to pages showcasing their case study and any associated resources that have been developed by or collated by them. Please feel free to download, use and adapt these resources - while acknowledging the authors - and to contact and engage with Walsall Adult Community College to find out more. Contact details are provided within the case study.
Walsall Adult Community College - Employer Engagement: Use of on-line technology to reduce environmental impact and maximise social capital
The College is continually reviewing and developing its services and behaviours in line with its sustainability commitment. At the time of the project, the College was developing the mechanism by which it engages with apprentices and their employers. This project would develop, pilot, measure and communicate the approach and benefits of on-line meetings and dialogue with employers as part of the apprentice based programmes the College delivers. The download is a zipped file containing two documents.
