Using Template 4 to establish detailed financial information
Insert the relevant information into the appropriate columns:
- From Template 3 transfer summary costs identified for each waste type and for each area e.g. school, building, faculty etc. into appropriate section in Template 4.
- Include costs associated with purchase and maintenance of containers for recycling systems, as well as income.
- Include all costs associated with capital purchase, rental and maintenance of equipment.
- Staff costs associated with handling waste can be difficult to identify and for simplicity are not always included – if so make sure that this is stated.
- For comparative purposes, include the overall budget figure for waste management for the institution.
