This presentation entitled ‘The Greta Challenge’ was delivered by a group of APUC staff at the Procurement Networking Conference at Stirling Court Hotel on Friday 24th May 2019.

Addressing an audience of University and College procurement professionals, the presentation aimed: firstly to highlight the impact of Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg; secondly to call attention to the outcomes of the recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report; thirdly to outline the evolving youth and citizen led campaigns for more action to tackle the climate crisis and; finally to suggest steps procurement professionals can take to improve sustainability within their work.

Each segment of the presentation engaged the audience via a Slido poll and questions and responses to these can be found at the end of the slide pack.
