The EcoCampus encourages and rewards universities for moving towards environmental sustainability and therefore good operational and management practice. It is a national scheme and will be offered to institutions committed to a programme of continuous improvement in their operational and management performance.  This scheme was an LGM project funded by HEFCE, delivered by Nottingham Trent University.EcoCampus has received support from the public and private sectors and funding from DEFRA via Environmental Campaigns (ENCAMS).
