Template 2 - composition, location and current management

Note: Template 2 for each source of waste/building will be used when completing Template 3 to assess tonnage of waste. It would be sensible to complete both these templates at the same time, as far as possible.

Complete Template 2 for all the main buildings, residences, grassed areas and other areas of the institution. Where appropriate, break down this list further into sections within buildings such as the ones most likely to produce the main types of waste - e.g. offices, shops, canteens, stores, laboratories etc. as shown in the table. At the end of this process you should know what waste is being produced from specific areas, how it is being managed and the key personnel involved. See link for information on types of waste containers and their various volumes.
