Sustainable City Challenge- our new staff engagement programme and lessons learnt

The Sustainable City Challenge is a staff engagement programme designed to involve all staff. The Challenge is a competition between departments where staff can earn points by taking part in monthly challenges and completing self-led sustainability projects. After engaging 780 members of staff (over 40%) in our first full year of delivery, we reviewed the programme focusing on strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. As a result of this we have been implementing improvements during our second year. In this session we will share our problems, solutions and successes and invite delegates to share their own experiences through our interactive Share Board.
