Orkney College UHI have been working on an innovative project involving hydrogen power. The project aims to stores excess renewable energy as hydrogen gas, effectively a storage mechanism for renewable energy.
The project was designed with teaching in mind and students are Orkney college are able to learn from the project and see how it works in real time. This gives me a huge wealth of experience to take forward and equips them with valuable skills for after college.
The project is an great example of SDG4 that uses state of the art technology as part of an ongoing project that was designed for experiential teaching and learning.
