Session Outline

Salix hosted an exchange to inform Further Education Colleges of the funding streams currently available and reviewed the Salix College Energy Fund, in partnership with the EAUC. The exchange equipped delegates with the essential knowledge to make a Salix application.

There were examples of past projects, eligible technologies and a comprehensive break down of the application process, including how the loan is structured.

It gave insight into the technical and financial aspects of a Salix application. Salix also reported on the success of the recent FE Colleges fund, including the most popular technology types and exemplar projects. There was a Q&A at the end and a member of the technical services team was present to answer for any technology specific
questions.
