This guidance is intended to support higher education providers wishing to embrace education for sustainable development as part of the student academic experience. The guidance is intended to complement the Quality Code but does not form an explicit part of it.

There will be a launch event for the guidance on 1/9/14 at the University of the West of England where HEA, QAA and HEFCE will speak. This will include a workshop on ways in which the guidance could be or is being used.

The EAUC is very grateful to EAUC Board Member Harriet Sjerps-Jones from the University of Exeter for representing EAUC Members on the Guide’s Development Group.
