PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) is an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact and was established in 2007. PRME's mission is to transform management education, research and thought leadership globally by providing the Principles for Responsible Management Education framework, developing learning communities and promoting awareness about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. To support the implementation of PRME at individual institutions, there have been a number of collective activities that have taken place through the development of PRME Working Groups, Regional Chapters and PRME Champions. The PRME Chapter UK & Ireland was set up in 2013. Participants are 'signatories' to the PRME Principles - www.unprme.org/about-prme/the-six-principles.php.
