Richard Wintrip, Travel Plan Co-ordinator at Bournemouth University emailed the Transport Planning Network Community of Practice with a question about distance thresholds for parking permits:

“A quick benchmarking exercise. At BU we currently have a staff parking threshold of 1.5miles and we are looking to extend this to 2miles. Do any other institutions have a parking permit distance threshold for staff? If so please could you share the threshold distance with me?”
