The National Union of Students (NUS) are honoured to announce that the Welsh Government have publicly commended the work that they do surrounding sustainability - including Green Impact.Leighton Andrews (Minister for Education and Skills) and John Griffiths (Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development) were so impressed by the positive statistics of NUS sustainability programmes that they have come together to officially endorse both Green Impact and Student Switch Off.
The ministers admire the potential of these schemes, see them as being effective ways of cutting down on unnecessary energy usage, and have commended them in an open letter addressed to all Higher Education institutions in Wales!
