Welcome to Climate Week 2013!
4th March 2013
Climate Week is Britain’s biggest climate change campaign, inspiring a new wave of action to create a sustainable future. Culminating in a week of activities, it showcases practical solutions from every sector of society.
Each year, half a million people attend 3,000 events in Britain’s biggest ever environmental occasion. Events are run by schools, businesses, charities, councils and many others.
Join the debate on the Sustainability Exchange
The idea of Climate Week is to share ideas on how we can mitigate the issues of climate change and to come together to think innovatively on how we can overcome them. To encourage this, we're holding a
5 day forum challenge during Climate Week 2013.
Each day this week, we will be discussing the impact of climate change in the education sector covering topics such as
food,
leadership,
education,
consumerism and
transport. The topics will be posted each morning and then it's over to you to share your views and opinions with other users throughout the day. We’ve chosen our themes to reflect the current hot topics in the education sector but if you have any ideas, please
email us. Likewise, if you have a specific question to ask, you can start your own topic!
To take part, first you’ll need to have registered on the
Sustainability Exchange. Registration is free and simple, EAUC Members do not need to register, just log in using your email and EAUC password. For non-members please use the 'Registration Box' at the top left and follow the on screen instructions, all we need to register you as a user is your name, email address, organisation and a password.
