#WearTheLove National Campaign - Scotland
2nd February 2016
#WearTheLove National Campaign
Fashion / Textile Degree Course Brief/Opportunity for Scotland
This February, Love Your Clothes wants everyone to celebrate the clothes we already have and fall in love again with our wardrobes. So we’re running a national campaign and competition – Wear The Love – that is about sharing the nation’s passion for and love of clothing. We also aim to encourage people to care for and repair the things they love, making their clothes last for longer.
We want to provide students with the opportunity to get involved in our national campaign, and we thought this might make an interesting live industry brief for your students. All it takes is a photo or short video (up to one minute) of them wearing a garment they love, and a few words saying why they love it. This could be something they’ve made themselves, or just something from their wardrobe that they love wearing.
The students will be eligible to enter the competition and will have an incentive of winning £250 in Virgin Experience Vouchers. They need to upload their entries to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, tagging Love Your Clothes and using the hashtag #WearTheLove ensuring they include why they love their special item. The deadline for submissions is 14
th February.
Entrants should be 18 or over, and each person can enter only once. Please see loveyourclothes.org.uk/wear-the-love for competition guidelines and full details of how to enter.
Universities and colleges entering a significant number of students will be credited as campaign partners on our website.
