Green Impact roll out

A number of institutions have been in contact with Green Impact recently enquiring if about potential participation.

Happily, Green Impact can announce that NUS and NUS Services are now looking to roll the model out to at least another 15 institutions for the 2010/11 academic year on a self-funded basis.

Please note:
 The invite is open to all further and higher education institutions in the UK whose students’ unions are affiliated to NUS
 We can bill in advance this financial year if required
 The deadline for completed sign-up forms to be returned to me is 5pm on Wed 21 July 2010.

For the 23 HEIs already taking part this year, there are some additional packages you can buy into next academic year – please see sections 9.2 to 9.5, and section 11.3

Green Impact Students’ Unions
As an aside, please note that the new name for Sound Impact will be Green Impact Students' Unions. Launching into its' 5th year, the scheme has become a well-respected scheme within the students' union movement, helping over a hundred unions to improve their environmental performance, with 55 now up to the Silver standard. The scheme content and format will remain unchanged, just under a new name and brand.
