Embedding Sustainability in Teaching Courses Project
Embedding Sustainability in Teaching Courses Project
27th November 2018
EAUC-Scotland are running a new project to support institutions to embed sustainability within teaching courses, and we need your help!
Starting with four initial subject areas - economics, fine art, psychology and computer science - the project will consider the opportunities for sustainability ideas to be embedded into the teaching of core concepts or discussions around the impacts of the subject area on the world.
Our Sustainability in the Curriculum Research Intern will produce a series of resources and case studies to help individual teaching staff and students see how their subject-based teaching can contribute to a more sustainable future.
Get involved!
Do you teach on courses in any of the following subjects:
- economics
- fine art
- psychology
- computer science
Or do you know people who do?
If you have already worked to embed sustainability within teaching in any of these areas, or would be interested to discuss how it could be done, we would love to hear from you!
Please contact
scotland@eauc.org.uk and we will put you in touch with Daisy, our Research Intern.
Please share this opportunity with staff in the relevant teaching departments of your institution
