EAUC launches 17th Annual Conference with great value delegate rates for EAUC Members
10th January 2013
The EAUC is delighted to launch its 17th Annual Conference.
Over the three Conference days, we will hear from three notable keynote speakers;
Giles Hutchins, sustainable business practices speaker,
Wyn Morgan, Director of Teaching and Learning at the University of Nottingham and
Danny Chivers, Carbon footprint analyst, writer, and performance poet. It is the inspiration and motivation from not only the sector but also out-of-the-sector organisations which gives us increased insight and motivation.
More information on our speakers as well as our draft agenda and sessions programme can be found at www.eauc.org.uk/annual_conference
Conference highlights:
• 3 keynote speakers
• 20 Conference sessions selected by our Conference Steering Group covering a wealth of sustainability topics to motivate us and inspire us in our everyday activities
• New for 2013! Introduction of “exchanges” offering short, bite-sized 30 minute sessions taking place inside the exhibition hall
• Networking events: personal development session, “meet the exhibitors”, eco-slam poetry (Wednesday 17 April) and Conference Gala Dinner (Thursday 18 April)
• Exhibition of 45+ sustainable companies showcasing their products and services supporting the tertiary education sector
Our 2013 Conference will be our “greenest” Conference venue ever! The University of Nottingham is listed as the most environmentally friendly campus on the planet according to the November 2011 new league table of sustainable universities. The University is first in a new international ranking that judges institutions according to a number of sustainability initiatives such as their energy management programmes and the application of eco-sustainability policies and efforts. What better place to hold our Conference!
With great Conference sessions, keynote speakers, networking events, an exhibition of like-minded companies offering products and services to support the sector and a student day, this unique event remains to be THE environmental and sustainability annual event for the tertiary education sector and is key in highlighting the sector’s successes on sustainability issues. Built by you, for you, please do join us!
We've got some great value delegate packages and the usual early bird rates for those who act fast! As an added benefit for EAUC Members, we have honoured the 2012 early bird prices and have some fantastic multi-purchase offers. Early bird rates are available until 15 February 2013.
