Cross-sector forum brings together representatives from government, industry and education to drive collaboration on climate education and green skills
On 13 February EAUC co-hosted a reboot meeting of the Climate Education and Skills Group alongside the Grantham Institute at Imperial College London.
The group provides a much needed cross-sector forum bringing together representatives from government, industry, and education to drive collaboration on climate education and green skills across the UK and specifically to:
- Identify opportunities to enhance climate education and skills development.
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders from different sectors
- Contribute to policy making and engagement activities, including sharing resources, events, and best practices.
- Engage with UK and local government on green skills policy and its implementation.
- Highlight good practice and contribute to the development of green skills pathways across priority sectors.
- Keep up-to-date with what’s going on in a fast-paced landscape.
The next meeting will be on 10 April, 2-3pm, bringing together key representatives from government departments, industry and the post-16 education sector to steer progress in this critical area.
If you would like to join the group or have people in your network who should receive an invite,
