Centre for Sustainable Fashion’s (CSF) Student & Tutor Resources are now online
28th November 2011
CSF are proud to announce that their long awaited Resources are now live online. Winners of the Social Responsbility category at the 2011 Green Gown Awards, they came top in recognition for their work with Her Majesty’s Prison Service (HMPS).
Their Resources is another stepping stone for the institution. They intend for the Resources to grow as feedback, new information and new case studies are gathered. They have set out to offer parameters individuals may wish to consider in their approach to work as a fashion student, practitioner or tutor. It doesn't set out as a ‘how to’ guide, as staff and students make their own decisions, but it does offer a pause for thought as well as a sharing of ideas that we’ve been working on with collaborators, colleagues and friends.
It may lead staff and students to challenge their current practice and to imagine better ways to apply their own values in realising ambitions.
CSF's ambition is to share what they've discovered and to learn from others in the journey towards fashion as a positive contributor to shared prosperity. There are two sections:
- Signposts - Linking you to people and projects to support a sustainable frame of working.
- Sustainability in Action - Our framework for approaching sustainability in fashion, and case studies of those who are putting it in to action.
