Campaign your way to sustainability!

Next week, 18th - 24th June 2012, is a bumper week for sustainability campaigns. With the EU's Sustainable Energy Week, Recycle Week, and even Bike Week taking place, there are lots of events and promotions to get involved with.

EU Sustainable Energy Week, an initiative of the European Commission, showcases activities dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. It is designed to spread best practices, inspire new ideas and build alliances to help meet the EU’s energy and climate goals. Learn more about Sustainable Energy Week

Recycle Week, run by Recycle Now, will see councils, retailers and businesses from across the UK highlighting the plight of the humble plastic bottle. Making an entrance some 65 years ago, a staggering 15 million of plastic bottles are now used every day in the UK, yet less than 50 per cent make it into our recycling bins. Bike Week, run by Samsung, is the UK’s biggest mass participation cycling event with almost half a million people are taking part. Samsung Bike Week events offer something for everyone; from families, schools, colleges and companies, to seasoned cyclists and those who have never cycled before. Get involved with Bike Week
