Stop your seeds and newly growing plants becoming a tasty treat! Scare away the birds by using anything that rattles or waves in the wind. Discourage slugs by using non-toxic repellents and barriers. You may also need to put up rabbit fencing.

Cut more intensively over the first year. Cutting every 6-8 weeks or when the grass reaches 5-10cm high will help establishment. Weed out any unwanted plants. After this follow ‘Ongoing Management’.
