Organized by the network Campus Responsables, Les Trophées des campus responsables has rewarded French speaking campuses for their actions and commitments to integrate sustainable development and CSR activities since 2014. This is the French component of the Green Gown Awards, which has existed for over 11 years in the UK, and 6 years in Australia and New Zealand.
The objective of this international event is to promote and develop with the general public and the community of higher education campuses with the most exemplary commitment and the most advanced practices in the different aspects of sustainable development. By distinguishing various sizes of initiatives implemented by large universities and smaller institutions, Les Trophées emphasize that sustainable development is within the reach of all sizes of campus, regardless of their means.
Universities, colleges and specialized institutions (applied arts, aviation, veterinary, etc.): all campuses of France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Quebec were able to participate in Les Trophées and compete for one or more of the 8 category prizes available.
