At the University of Strathclyde the travel initiatives have ranged from providing innovative electric vehicles to improving cycling facilities and encouraging sustainable travel through our engagement programme, all of which have reduced the University’s emissions.
They have successfully brought together all of their travel initiatives into an online hub and app which promotes sustainable transport modes and tracks behaviours. Since the start of 2018, the University of Strathclyde has seen more than 7,000kg CO2 avoided through active travel. By bringing together all of their initiatives under one roof, they are beginning to successfully influence behaviours both on and off campus.
This session was part of Influence, the EAUC’s 2019 Annual Conference. All resources from the day can be found here.
