Glasgow Kelvin Velocity is a project designed by a group of the Glasgow Kelvin College’s Support for Learning students and staff, aimed at encouraging outdoor and cycling activities.
The project gathered momentum and support from the wider community in 2016, which resulted with the funding needed to build a dedicated active travel hub.
The session provided an opportunity for participants to hear about the design, planning and building process undertaken by Glasgow Kelvin College, but also to design their own active travel hub by utilising a streamlined Charrette approach to a community design project.
This session was part of Influence, the EAUC’s 2019 Annual Conference. All resources from the day can be found here.
