Foundation resource for students based on the principle that all students should leave post-secondary education with at least an appreciation of the role the environment will play in their future career and public life. In that regard it provides awareness to all students on issues such as health and safety and human rights.
While they don’t necessarily form part of their formal study an understanding of these elements work towards their future life in the workplace and in the communities in which they will live. On completion of the students’ responses across the 3 units a “Green Citizen Card” is awarded. This contributes positively to their future pursuit of employment. The entire process is estimated to take around three hours.
