Having built upon and continuously improved its Environmental Policy, New College Stamford (NCS) recently established an Environmental and Sustainability strategy with high emphasis placed on social responsibility. This demonstrates the College’s commitment to make principles of Sustainable Development an integral aspect of its strategy and operations. Its strategy takes a long term approach to sustainability, social justice and enhancing the student experience by way of embedding sustainability throughout the institution.

The College’s Environment Team works closely with students, staff and the wider community, delivering a range of environmental and social awareness projects with positive impacts from the global to the local scale in order to influence positively student behaviour as an integral part of their experience at NCS.
