The Many Occupations of Icelandic Environmentalist Andri Snaer Magnason

Andri Snær Magnason is an internationally acclaimed novelist, poet, film producer and actor; he is considered to be one of the foremost environmental activists in Europe. In 2016, he ran for President of Iceland and came in third place.

Andri's book, Dreamland, 'details the destruction of our planet in following the heavy industrial trail of carnage involved in smelting aluminium - questioning the relationships that are involved, the hiding of truth for gain, for expediency'.Dreamland has also been made into a feature-length documentary, whilst Andri's children's book, The Story of the Blue Planet, has been adapted for the stage.
