Student Sustainability Summit
23rd Mar 2015 09:45 – 16:35
Changing education is the first step to changing society. That’s why the first ever Student Sustainability Summit puts students at the heart of solutions to our social, economic and environmental challenges.
Leaders have spent decades failing to agree, missing targets, and pushing back deadlines. We need new leaders to shape a new global society. It’s time for us, the student movement, to lead instead.
This isn’t just about creating new leaders today. It’s about ensuring that all students leave their time in university or college as socially responsible global citizens, year after year after year.
Taking place at Leeds University Union on 23 March 2015, the
EAUC, NUS, and People & Planet have come together in a powerful partnership to bring together hundreds of students from across the country. We’re also delighted to be supported by Student Hubs, rootAbility, Change Agents UK and Enactus UK.
The Summit takes place the day before the EAUC Annual Conference so is positioned perfectly to explore how institutions can support students to shape their own learning.
