Interactive Biodiversity Index (exchange)
9th Jul 2013 13:00 – 14:00
LiFE Framework: Biodiversity
A short webinar demonstrating how this practical tool from the University of Northampton can help improve biodiversity on your site.
Biodiversity is the one area that has often been left out of the spotlight in sustainability plans. The SEED project has changed this with the creation of a new, interactive Biodiversity Index tool which will enable you to map the current level of biodiversity on your site and suggest ways of improving this.
The interactive biodiversity index was presented in a session at the 2013 EAUC Annual Conference and received 97% excellent/good rating from delegates. Based on this success, we’ve turned it into an interactive webinar more of you can see the benefits of this tool.
During the webinar, delegates viewed the index live on screen and were guided through the various elements and how to get the best from it. We then opened out to questions from delegate.
The biodiversity index is a tool which will...
• Help you to measure plant diversity on one or more sites.
• Suggest ways you can improve biodiversity on your site.
• Signpost you to more information should you need it.
