Heat and Decentralised Energy 2017 Conference
Heat and Decentralised Energy 2017 Conference
30th Nov 2017 09:00 – 17:30
The Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) and the Energy Institute (EI) today announced details of Heat and Decentralised Energy 2017, a one-day conference to be held in London on Thursday 30 November.
Now is the time for the heat and decentralised energy sectors to show leadership. The world is changing. With a minority Government in office and our Brexit position still unclear, political uncertainty abounds. Businesses and communities have an opportunity to take control and drive forward the transformation of the UK energy system.
Heat and Decentralised Energy 2017 will explore the shift needed to achieve a competitive, cost effective, low carbon energy system with our customers at the very heart of what we do. Topics include leadership in customer service, how to deliver something different and engaging customers in change.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Louise Kingham OBE FEI, Chief Executive Officer, Energy Institute
- Tim Rotheray, Director, Association for Decentralised Energy
- Sabine Froning, Managing Partner, Communication Works
- Chris Kimmett, Commercial Director – Networks, Reactive Technologies
- Kirsty Lambert, Business Development Director, Switch2
- Alasdair Martin, Chief Strategy Officer, Flexitricity
- We are delighted that our Policy Debate will be chaired by John Moylan, former Industry and Employment Correspondent for the BBC. This year’s conference will be followed by a drinks reception to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Association for Decentralised Energy.
