Food Procurement & Sustainability: Sustainable Procurement Topic Support Network Meeting

The Sustainable Procurement Topic Support Network will be meeting on 13th June 2018 at Edinburgh Napier University for a session focused on food procurement and sustainability. The session will be followed by a complimentary networking lunch.
The Agenda will include presentations from:
- Food Procurement Policy and the public sector as a beacon of good food - Beth Webb, Soil Association Scotland
- Improving health and sustainability by increasing vegetables in procurement: the Peas Please initiative - Celia Nyssens, Nourish Scotland
- Food packaging and Procurement - Claire Guerin, Zero Waste Scotland
- Edinburgh Napier University Permaculture Project
- HEPA responsible procurement update
- Workshop session around sustainable food procurement
In this event we hope to provide content useful to procurement, sustainability and catering teams and it is open to all. Please invite your relevant counterpart from any of the listed teams.
