European Summer School - Creating Forest Experiences - Germany

The SDW (Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald; Association for the Protection of the German Forest) is organizing the “European Summer School - Creating Forest Experiences” in July 2018 in Germany for young adults (18 to 22 years old) from Europe.

The event gives them the opportunity to learn about the sustainable use of forests (economic, ecological and social perspectives), to formulate statements which will be presented to politicians and to develop their own forest project ideas, which we will implement together with them afterwards.

The event is free of charge for the participants – travel expenses, accommodation and food are paid by us. We appreciate if you could share the event via your channels (e. g. mailing lists, Facebook page …) and student groups. The application deadline ends on the 13th May!
