28th Jan 2025 14:00 – 15:30

Join us for this Topic Support Network (TSN) meeting on education for sustainable development (ESD), delivered in partnership with Learning for Sustainability Scotland.

This meeting will centre around how ESD enables quality learning. You'll hear from:
  • Simon Kemp at University of Southhampton: Stories of impact
  • Christine Anderson and Kerry McInnes at UHI Moray: Under the Scissors Project - Students from UHI Moray's Hairdressing and Beauty & Aesthetic Therapies courses teamed up with staff and students from the Scottish Association of Marine Science to empower the hair and beauty industry to talk climate change, developing collaboration and communication skills.
  • EAUC Scotland on how ESD can evidence quality learning as part of the new Tertiary Quality Enhancement Framework in Scotland.
Please note: We will discuss new quality processes in Scotland, which includes references to the UK Higher Education Quality Code by QAA. If you are from an English institution and have specific quality processes you would like to discuss, please get in touch with kmobius@eauc.org.uk, and we will be sure to accommodate you.

All college and university staff from EAUC member institutions are welcome to join us.
