EAUC Scotland Energy and Water Management Topic Support Network

Join us for the latest EAUC Scotland Energy and Water Topic Support Network session on 16th April 2024 from 9:30am - 11am. This event will focus on the Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard in collaboration with Scottish Futures Trust and Zero Waste Scotland. 
 
Refreshed and relaunched in August 2023, the NZPSBS:

• helps support public bodies define objectives for their construction project in pursuit of a credible path to net zero operational energy.
• has been developed to make project teams aware of current and forthcoming local, regional and national net zero policies for the construction of new buildings and retrofitting existing ones.
• encourages public bodies to apply industry good practice in quality assurance to give them confidence that the design, delivery and facilities management work of their project meets with the objectives of the Standard.

The Standard has had interest globally in its approach to sustainability and placemaking.

Attendance is free to attendees from Scottish universities and colleges and EAUC members from non-Scottish institutions.
