EAUC Annual Conference: Conversations on Climate Solutions

Following on from the huge success of our conference last November, we are delighted that our Annual Conference is back to its usual time slot in June this year and we’re finally able to join our colleagues at the University of Bath for this exciting event.  ‘Conversations on Climate Action’ gave us the opportunity to reconnect with one another and explore the challenges we face going forward.  “Conversations on Climate Solutions” will continue this discussion with a focus on best practice as well as continuing the discussion and networking opportunities as we continue to face a multitude of environmental, economic, and socio-political challenges.
 
Collaboration between Higher and Further Education institutions is critical to ensuring we meet the challenges; we also need to look to our wider influence and collaboration with both local and national networks is key to making impacts and ensuring we keep up the pace with Climate action. 
 
“Conversations on Climate Solutions” will bring together the UK’s best university and college academics, leaders, and professionals to address the Climate and Ecological Emergency, but more than that, giving you some real opportunities to work together, hear about some excellent solutions and discover your own strategy to move forward.
 
We will bring together the best of thought-leadership from the education sector, while also listening to and collaborating with students’ voice and colleagues in the wider sustainability sector. Together, we need to emerge stronger and more resilient to the health and environmental crises.
 
AIMS 

• Share best practice examples, giving the opportunity to discuss how these might apply to our own institutions
• Rethink our goals and vision for the future
• Find some real solutions
