2020 THE University Impact Rankings - Webinar

24th Oct 2019 10:00 – 11:00

On 3rd April 2019 Times Higher Education launched the inaugural University Impact Rankings, a pioneering initiative to recognise universities across the world for their social and economic impact, based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

After an overwhelming response in the first year, with over 560 institutions, participating and 466 ranked in the overall rankings. The launch at KAIST in Deajeon brought together thought leaders from across the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities for universities in the fourth industrial revolution.

Times Higher Education has had lots of great feedback about the process and methodology and, as a result, have improved the data submission system.  They are pleased to be able to say that the University Impact Rankings 2020 methodology now covers all 17 of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Sustainability Leadership Scorecard SDG report and the SDG Accord report will still be accepted as evidence for institutions submitting for Goal 17

At this webinar, THE and Vertigo Ventures will talk through the methodology.

Speakers:

Duncan Ross, Chief Data Officer, Times Higher Education
Laura Tucker, Founder & CEO, Vertigo Ventures.
