'The road to excellent operations is paved with internal environmental audits' workshop at the 2012 Annual Conference provided delegates with a practical insight into the implementation of internal environmental audits, showing how they have huge potential to improve operations as well as forming part of a strong Environmental Management System.

The workshop was based on practical experiences of three different types of universities and one college that have developed formal Environmental Management Systems in different ways (Eco Campus, ISO14001 and BS8555).

Template documents and materials were provided for delegates to take away and use/adapt to their own institutions. These can be downloaded below. A huge thanks goes to the London Environmental Group for sharing these valuable templates.
