This presentation was given as part of the 'Moving from Compliance to Leading Change' Summit at the EAUC-Scotland Conference 2017 by Dave Gorman, Director of Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh.
Session Outline
This presentation gave an overview of the guidance of the International Integrated Reporting Framework and examples of how organisations are accounting for natural, social, human and intellectual capital (in addition to financial capital). It shared learning on integrated thinking and reporting for value creation as it could apply within Universities and Colleges.
Discussions outlined that there is a need for a leadership space to better understand this approach to value, and potential alignment and synergy with organisational mission and objectives, such as the EAUC’s current Executive Leadership (Harvard) Programme.
