This LGM HEFCE funded project, led by Harper Adams University College supported institutions with extensive landholdings (including farmed land) to enable them to:

  • measure greenhouse gas emissions arising from agricultural activities in their educational estate

  • establish realistic carbon equivalent reduction targets

  • develop informed carbon management plans.

Reports are available for download.

The project which was funded under the Leading Sustainable Development in HE initiative ran from August 2010 to May 2011.
