The project comprised design and build of an insulated aluminium rainscreen and window replacement to two multi-storey buildings collectively known as the James Parsons Building, consisting of a seven storey slab block, a ten storey tower block and a seven storey link block connecting them. Additional works undertaken as part of the project included modification to the top floor of the seven storey slab block where inclined glazing and an open concrete flying beam were replaced by vertical glazing and the beams roofed over, removal of the concrete surround to three recessed concrete balconies and removal of an existing canopy to the entrance of the 10 storey tower block and replacement with a new free-standing curved canopy.
