Our Sustainable Construction TSN Group visited Glasgow School of Art on 29th April 2015 for a tour of the Mackintosh Building and discussions on the low carbon refurbishment of historic buildings.

The event involved a talk and tour of the Mackintosh building, which is currently under refurbishment following a devastating fire. We also heard from Professor Colin Porteous on Low Carbon Retrofit projects he is involved with, as well as from attendees on their own retrofit projects. The focus was on both carbon/energy-focused projects and those working to protect cultural heritage.
