BPA and debt collection - June 2016 Member Responses

James Morvan, Travel Plan Coordinator, University of the West of England emailed the Transport Planning Network asking,

“I’m trying to ignore the news today and instead concentrate on parking accreditation!

We are in the process of applying to the BPA (this has been in train for some months now). Sorry if this has already been covered in recent meetings/emails, but I would be grateful if anyone can help with the below;

• When you reach the end of the final appeals, can I ask what approach anyone takes for debt recovery and/or legal action as part of the BPA or IPC?
• Do you do this in-house or outsource?
• Can you recommend any suppliers?
• Have you had any issues with your approach?”
