Hold a sale for unwanted books where staff and students can buy books that the library has cancelled. Success generally depends on the material on offer – for example, a sale of maps at the University of Glasgow was very popular.
In a new partnership with the EAUC, Better World Books offers EAUC members a completely free program for libraries and academic institutions to dispose of unwanted books, while generating some funding for themselves and a literacy charity. To receive more information regarding this scheme please email eauc@betterworldbooks.co.uk or call 01383 841 437, and mention you heard about us through the EAUC. Find out more
