Paul Thomas, Sustainability Officer, University of Gloucestershire asked EAUC Members on the Educational Members' Network the following question:

“I am looking to establish a partnership with a local bicycle charity whereby we donate our abandoned bikes to them to be refurbished and reused. To that end can anyone help me with the processes that need to be adhered to in order for the University to remove these bicycles? I realise that some form of notice has to be given to ensure we are not giving away an individual’s property but any specific guidance would be appreciated.”
