There were 35 finalists representing 17 institutions all leading the way with their commitment to creating a sustainable and healthy future for all.
We were extremely proud to present a wide range of sustainability initiatives this year, demonstrating how Australasian institutions are at the forefront of delivering innovative and practical solutions to the most pressing challenges of our time.
The Awards Ceremony was held in conjunction with the annual International ACTS Conference, hosted by RMIT University in Melbourne. Sustainability practitioners and influencers, educators, students, government and business partners, and sector support representatives came together for the conference in November to THINK BIG for Global Goals. A highlight of the event was the "green tie" Green Gown Awards Australasia awards ceremony and gala dinner which took place on the evening of Thursday 2 November 2017 at Storey Hall.
