Nottingham Trent University's Catering Mark journey began in December 2012, when the university's environmental team were looking at ways to gain points for the People & Planet Green League. Ivan, Executive Chef said, "We looked into the Bronze Catering Mark and realised that we were already ticking a lot of the boxes; ethical and environmentally friendly food, championing local suppliers, and making it easier for our customers to eat more healthily.
